Nate Nelson received his M.S. in Biology from Missouri State University where he studied local populations of Eurycea salamanders. He entered the zoo field in 2005 and has served as the Curator of Amphibians, Reptiles & Fishes at the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, KS since 2007
