The International Iguana Foundation provides funding support for conservation programs focused on endangered iguana species. This projects section has overviews of currently supported programs. These programs receive funding as either part of our core projects or through annual grants.
Core Projects
The International Iguana Foundation provides funding for several core programs on a continual basis. These programs support some of the most critically endangered iguanas and allow research and conservation efforts for these species to continue uninterrupted. Core funding comes from both outside grant sources and funding from our partner organizations and is designed to assist those programs where species may otherwise go extinct.
Grant Projects
The International Iguana Foundation provides annual grant funding to a variety of programs through our grant application process. Grant projects support a wide range of species and programs but must be applied for annually. Grant projects listed in this section represent grants awarded for the current year and projects actively being funded by the IIF. Information on applying for an IIF grant or past funded projects can be found in the Grants section.
