Core Projects

The International Iguana Foundation provides funding for several core programs on a continual basis. These programs support some of the most critically endangered iguanas and allow research and conservation efforts for these species to continue uninterrupted. Core funding comes from both outside grant sources and funding from our partner organizations and is designed to assist those programs where species may otherwise go extinct.  Please use the tabs to the left to view our core funded projects.

RicordsspeciesLoRes3jpgCurrently, the IIF is providing core funding support for Ricord's iguanas through our partner organizations and outside grant sources.  Ricord's iguanas were previously thought to be extinct in Haiti until an IIF funded project confirmed the presence of a small, fragile subpopulation.  For project details, please click here or use the tabs to the left.
