Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program June 2012

Recent images from Reconyx cameras provided by a grant from the Disney Worldwide Conservation fund show that Jamaican Iguana nests are frequently raided by Mongoose and feral pigs.  Photos also show the iguanas utilizing the new artificial nest areas created by the field team.  Below, a female Jamaican Iguana guards her nest and drives away an approaching mongoose.
