The International Iguana Foundation received a total of $86,750 from granting sources during 2007. This was our highest year of grants received to date providing support to several conservation initiatives for iguanas.
Conservation International awarded $3,000 to the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program.
The Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund awarded $35,000 to the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program.
The Milwaukee County Zoo provided $2,250 to the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program to purchase radio transmitters.
An Anonymous foundation granted $23,200 to the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program, $10,800 for Bahamian Iguana research, and $12,500 for Turks and Caicos Iguana research.
