2010 Funding Support Received

The International Iguana Foundation received a total of $127,600 in funding to support conservation from five granting agencies in 2010.

The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund awarded $25,000 for the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program, $15,000 for Anegada Iguana conservation, $15,000 for Roatán Spiny-tailed Iguana conservation, and $4,650 for Ricord’s Iguana conservation.

The Disney Rapid Relief Fund granted $4,950 for Ricord’s Iguana conservation in Haiti.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service supported Ricord’s Iguana conservation through a $25,000 Wildlife Without Borders grant.

The Beneficia Foundation awarded $10,000 to the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program directly and an additional $10,000 to the IIF general fund.

An Anonymous foundation granted $15,000 for the Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program and $15,000 to Ricord’s Iguana conservation in the Dominican Republic.
