Cayle Pearson entered the zoo field in 2006, and is currently the Assistant Curator of Herps, Birds, and Others at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. His interest in reptiles and amphibians, and their conservation, has continued to grow during his career. Cyclura and other species of iguanas quickly became a larger part of his interests. He currently serves as the Program Leader for Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Species Survival Plan programs for Jamaican and Grand Cayman Blue Iguanas. Cayle is also a member of IUCN SSC Iguana Specialist Group.
