Zoo Miami’s Curator of Ectotherms, Nicole Atteberry has worked in the zoo field since 1999 and joined the International Iguana Foundation Board in 2011. Hired as the first curator of ectotherms for Zoo Miami in 2009 she currently manages a diverse collection of animals, including a breeding group of Jamaican Iguanas and a breeding group of Anegada Iguanas. Nicole also serves on the zoo’s IACUC committee. Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Middle Tennessee State University.
